PHILADELPHIA, January 1, 2011—Lions Eye Bank of Delaware Valley, the eye bank that coordinates corneal transplants for Southern New Jersey, Delaware and Southeast Pennsylvania, announced today the relaunch of its website, www.lebdv.org, following an extensive redesign by the Newark, Delaware-based firm Tipton Communications.
The redesigned site features information on corneal transplantation, personal stories from recipients of donated corneas, tributes from the families of organ donors, opportunities to support the eye bank through donations, statistics and annual reports from the organization, and the option to register to become an organ donor online.
“We have a terrific story to tell that is now communicated fully by our new site,” said Lions Eye Bank of Delaware Valley Executive Vice President Jim Quirk. “The people at Tipton Communications did a great job of getting to know us and our clients, exploring the life-changing work done by the people of the eye bank and creating a new site that truly champions our cause. We’re very proud of it.”
