On Friday, October 12, 2007 we remembered those humble beginnings and celebrated a half century of dedication to the cause of restoring sight.  Thank you to everyone who attended and we missed those of you who did not.

Please join us on September 13, 2008 at the Historic Auburn Heights Preserve as we contine to celebrate or 50th Anniversary.  You will step back into history and experience the magic of steam locomotion.  Board a 1/8 size live steam railway for a trip on the Auburn Valley Railroad which boasts two mighty 4-8-4 "Northern" coal fired, live steam locomotives.  See the largest collection of Stanley Steamers you're ever likely to see -- over a dozen steamers -- fully restored.  Don't forget to hop aboard the "First Bus" in Delaware -- a 1915 Model 820 Stanley Mountain Wagon - for a tour around the Preserve.
